Optimism Is Gone

I'm sorry if you guys are cool with losing and aren't as passionate about the team that I pull for. If you don't care either way then why even watch or follow this team?

Sorry, I wear my emotions on my sleeve (even on the internet) and I want to win.

If you don't like it you're free to move onto one of several other sh*tty threads to talk about how bad they are.

Hey I hear you. It's tough to feel like the team isn't getting better.

+ We have our QB for 10 years

- We may have an only average coach

we have a rookie QB, installed new offensive and defensive systems w/ no offseason, and lost by far our 2 best defensive players and another starter for the season...

realistically, we are probably overachieving given the scenario....a team in the above scenario probably shouldn't of been in every game thus far (not w/ the schedule we have faced)

but people see us overachieving and want us to do it to an even larger degree.....

I don't understand how people are still under the impression that this season was about wins and losses. It never was supposed to be about wins and losses. You have to lose to win in this league for any length of time. This season is about personal growth for our franchise quarterback. To learn how to take defeat, cope with it, and move forward.

Cam has invigorated our franchise and the real time for expectations begins next year. I can't even convince myself that anybody thought we were going to win more than 3 or 4 games this year.

 @ prouddiddy having sleeves to wear his emotions on

e-sleeves

Yeah, that's so f*cking funny. Man, that's such a knee slapper. Grow up.

I express my emotions as I feel them, better?

Again, if you don't agree with me then move to the multitude of other sh*tty threads that populate the forum to make unfunny observations. This is a message board, it is full of opinions. If you have one, express it, if not, shut your "e-mouths" and keep your snide comments to yourself. They're not amusing or funny except to the trolls you're circle jerking with.

Thanks.

And TRD, uhhh, I mean Camdemonium, Matt Moore is playing tonight, you should busy with your lube.

I honestly thought we win more than 3 or 4 games last year. Every season is about wins or losses for me. Rookie or not, I expect better than 1-15 or 1-5. 3 or 4 wins is atrocious even for a rebuilding team.

Our first year in existence we went 7-9. This team has been through a lot of changes and our share of changes as head coach, but in our short existence we have never been the type of team to have back to back seasons of being at the bottom of the barrel. It is NOT some sort of a requirement, given or pre-requisite to give your team an overhaul despite what apologists keep trying to shove down people's throats. John Fox's first year he went 7-9 and after Seifert was fired for going 1-15. John Fox probably wouldn't have ended up 1-15 if he didn't get dealt such a crappy hand.

I may have not expected playoffs, but I certainly expected 7-9 with our receivers from last year like Lafell as well as other rookies having more experience under their belt and a better QB under center. If Rivera manages a 1-15 record with this QB, don't be so sure he'll even be around next year.

to say the optimism is gone is a little early. this team wants to win so bad right now; they don't care about next season or what their record is they just want to start winning. I would be worried if I saw signs that the team just quits at the end of the game when they get hit with a dagger, but so far I'm not seeing that.
