I am disappointed as well. Our defense absolutely stinks, and with the strength of schedule we have, it looks like we are only going to win one more game this year. (Against the Colts)

This is how I feel, if we are going to lose and have a top 5-10 pick in the draft, I hope we have the very first pick. So we can trade it to a desperate team for many picks. This is the only way we can be successful this year as far as I can see it.

You trust Hurney to be able to rape a team for picks? It's usually the other way around. Good lord if it's Belichick or Joe Banner on the other end ...

C'mon, before the season started, I remember the huddle's mood as being, "Not really worried about the W/L record" You guys got spoiled early by how great Cam played and started to expect us not to have the typical growing pains. It's coming, hold on to your hat and keep watching.

I've never said I didn't care about the W/L. I expected more wins. Then half our defense went to the infirmary and I found out our coaches don't have any sense of balance.

This year is going to suck. We knew this last week, and we knew it the week before. Cam is learning although seasoned still learning. Rivera first year coach. Defense is missing the head in beason and a leg in davis. Can we turn it around yes. Playoffs unlikely but still have a chance. The problem is changes and what the hell are we doing in practice. Good thing is we don't have too hard of a schedule here on out. Wash, minn, bye but if we get to 3-5 before the bye and address some of these issues, its still possible. But don't get your hopes up, im just like you. Fugging sick of losing.

We made it into the playoffs with a lot less offensively across the board, and won.

It's time to hold coaching accountable. These weak ass tosses and ineffective/unnecessary misdirection runs aren't fooling anyone. We should be steamrolling teams when we feel like it, but there isn't any balance, the run designs/schemes suck, and Chud turns to sh*t when we have a chance to tie/take the lead/score.

honestly many of those years our running game was far better than it is this year. Yes, our overall production is up, but not all yards are equal. That was also a different time of course. I do think our offense doesn't need major changes with regards to personnel (another WR, but maybe Gettis is that guy) but I feel like we are deliberately leaning on Cam too much.

Said it 4 weeks ago, and I'll say it again. Cam has waaaaay too many eggs in his basket. As a rookie, the pressure and burden he has on his shoulders to win each and every game is going to get to him.. MENTALLY.

The stats are fun, but the lack of balance is killing him.

That was the most disgusting loss we've had yet. I'm always gonna bleed black, blue, and silver, but I don't know that I can keep watching this heartbreak every Sunday.

There is no excuse for us to lose the way we did today. NONE. We lose by 7 or less to the best teams in the league (and could've/should've beat them), but we essentially get blown out by the Falcons? Pathetic.

It doesn't matter what our offense does because our defense can't stop sh*t. Chud is exposing himself to be a pass happy idiot with no sense of offensive balance. Coach Rivera calls timeouts when we don't need them and doesn't call them when we do. The defensive schemes and STs have no hope at all, it almost makes me want to vomit.

Today wasn't just a loss for today... It was a reminder that if we had any hope for the rest of the season, we shouldn't. We know we have a franchise QB, but little else. Yes, we have two of the top RBs in the NFL and two great TEs, and Smitty, but none of that matters because they aren't utilized effectively when it matters.

I don't give a sh*t about stats. I'm seriously disgusted with this season. If we hadn't lost half of our fuging defense we would've won at least one other game so far... I won't say more because the DT position is the worst in the league by far. They may as well sign one of us up from this board to line up at DT because these dudes are horrible.

JR may have opened up the check book this offseason to sign back our own guys but another huge fault in our philosophy and direction of our franchise is following the "develop through the draft" mantra. Go look at all the other great teams, if they have a hole, they sign a guy or make a trade. Not that there is a magic trade you can make to fix your entire team, but there are moves that can be made and I'm sick of suffering losses because "we're developing our young guys!"

I don't want to hear anymore rah rah speeches, how mad Cam is after losses, Smitty talking sh*t, Rivera talking about how we're getting better... We're not. We should be better.

We will most likely get maybe one to two more wins this season, mostly because our coaches are showing to be idiots and Hurney sits on his hands (or will make a big move for another team's practice squad DT or WR, oooooh!).

Today was just a reminder of all that is still wrong with our team and I don't care if this sounds emo, this team is really breaking my heart.

What did you expect with a new head coach, new defense, new offense, new ROOKIE QB, and no OTA's, study sessions, and only 3 weeks to prepare for the season.

We were never going to win the SB, not even get close. This season is the starting point of something special, and every snap is experiance that our team didnt get and needs.

We will win 3-4 games this season, more than thought, sand be in damn good position to get our defense on track through the draft next year.

dont be pissed, just realize we are very young, and these are the growing pains we will go through.
