Coples is a DE not DT. Couples is not big enough to play DT. Plus Couples seems to act like Peppers half time. Couples takes plays off. Couples will be a fine DE. But he will never be big enough to convert to a DT.

Coming from a UNC fan I think Coples is overrated, plus we are not bad at D-end.

We need a vet DT (Ron Edwards cough cough), another Corner, and definitely another linebacker

Funny that even thou those in the sports media didn't want to say anything negative against the Panthers because they were riding the Newton high, they are starting to accept the reality, The panther's defense is really hurting the offense.

It's sad to watch the Panther's being held to a 17-run in the 4th quarter while the Panther defense have Matt Ryan sitting back in the pocket getting so much time to pick out his receivers. And his receivers bailing him out when he didn't make those perfect passes.

If we take anybody on defense it will be a LB or DT. Also something to think about, it might be tough to take a DT. The reason why is because Ron Edwards comes back next year and Fua and mcclain will have a year under there belt.

fua and mcclain are terrible. a year under their belt isn't going to magically change that. they will get a little better but they have so far to go it isn't going to happen quickly. edwards is ancient and is not a reason to not draft a DT.
