My First Issue With The Offense

What up guys... how's it going? I'm the defense of the Carolina Panthers and I sucked balls today, thanks for not noticing.

Other offenses get paid to score. We're a rebuilding team, they're not.

Oh and by the way, watch every game from last year, back to back. Then tell me how much your eyes burn. Then after you've washed them out with the water I've exchanged for gasoline because I hate you, tell me how you're blaming either the coach or Cam for actually being a competitive team what's different on offense or defense from last year? Shittier LB's? Check. Better QB? Check. Shitty #2 WR? Check. Oh yeah, we got tight ends! That's why were competitive this year ಠ_ಠ

Read what I said. I didn't say not good enough for our team. I said the question is whether he is a good fit for this offense. When you have a primarily passing offense, you need a very accurate QB. It's just a fact. You gotta make few mistakes and a lot of extremely accurate passes.

I don't see Cam as that type of QB.

If Cam at least had a defense he can trust to hold off the opposing team, do u really feel the coaches would be have him throw the way he is??? The darn offensive team is playing like their lives depend on it while the defense give every point right back. Like WTF..

Also, why the hell is the opposing team receivers jumping and reaching for Cam Newton balls while the Panthers receivers look lost as heck. WTF, this is not practice. It's the actual game. Fight for every ball and stop expecting ur QB to land every ball in ur hands perfectly.

Look Cam's not a very accurate QB. He throws a lot of high balls which is why you see everyone, our own receivers too jump a lot for high balls. He's going to get Smith killed one of these days or at least seriously injured. But that's beyond the point.

The point is coaching staff is very suspect and I'm not sure if they're taking advantage of our players strong points. This is not the right fit offense for this team and certainly not for Cam.

It's good for yards, but not for wins. I don't like Rivera's coaching though I like him as a person. I don't like Chud's play calling even though we're getting good yards.

The stats say it all. Make all the excuses in the world you want but rookie and inexperience is now out the window. Harbaugh just took down the Lions and almost got into a fight at the end of the game with the Lions head coach...he's got that killer instinct. The Bengals are winning with Andy Dalton, flying under the radar while everyone's drooling on us losing with Cam.

And even John Fox, he started The Golden Calf of Bristol today......they won. Got a better record than we do right now. Coaching sucks. All around. No point even mentioning defense and special teams.......

Other coaches with a lot less talent are getting wins out of their teams. We have one of the most impressive rookies ever, and so much talent, and we're 1-5.

Btw, footballisasport, I don't think I have said one thing about Clausen. I have never liked Clausen and probably never will. And I don't understand how saying the coaching sucks is considered trolling and pointing out the reality other coaches have inherited similar situations or worse, but didn't have a #1 draft pick and are getting better results.

If that's trolling, ok then I guess I'm a troll. If preferring one of our own coaches over another makes me a troll, ok. If liking a different type of philosophy than the one we have makes me a troll ok, fine. I don't have to agree with everything this staff is doing, and I don't care if that makes me a troll. Seems to me people only like to find scapegoats around here, and prefer not to address the elephant in the corner of the room. Good luck with that line of thinking and attitude.

Today he didn't play well IMO (he's a rookie, he'll have days like this, no big deal), but overall he has not been the reason we've lost games at all - if anything he's kept us in a few of 'em when I would have expected us to get blown out.

I'm blaming the coaches for our record, I'm blaming Cam for today's loss. If he doesn't improve his accuracy the picks will never stop. He's not that type of QB though and I don't think he ever will be.

He's more like McNabb than anyone else out there. His biggest strong point is his ability to escape pressure, scramble with his feet to make a good pass or play down field.

But he's not that type of QB where you pass 40 times a game and are spot on with every throw. He makes really bad throws at times, that will cost us many games in the future. With each passing game though it looks to be more of an ability issue than a rookie issue. It's not like this wasn't evident in college. He had the same problem there too.

So what are you going to do? Gotta change that if you want to win, imo.

Or you could just keep doing the same thing and hope he will develop into something he's not and may never be. In the mean time we continue to lose week after week. This is all good for the future? I promise you one thing though, the other 53 players on the roster and the rest fan base aren't very cool with the idea you're supposed to sacrifice season after season with the hopes of developing something 2-3 years down the road....maybe.
