Evey few years a QB get hurt this bad and they tweak the rules, soon the sack will be history, because the QB will be untouchable. And Players like Peppers will be obsolete.

It would be stupid to have another specific rule for QB's... this kind of thing is and should be covered under the "roughing the passer" and "personal foul" rules. If the hit is particularly egregious, then the commisioner can fine and suspend, which they already do. Enough with the QB's already.

Considering the same thing happenned to Palmer and no rule was created, it does look like the league is nuthugging Brady.

Skew, I could be wrong but I think the going low on the QB rule was created before that Palmer hit but the issue was that it was judged that Von Olhoffen (SP???) was judged as having been blocked into Palmer thus not in violation of that rule.
