How big of a day...

will we have Sunday? I see us winning. I try to keep my expectations low each week, just to be safe. However, this week is different. I really have a strong feeling this week.

What do you expect to see on Sunday? For me, it is this:

Cam will go off big time. Very Arizona-esque. He'll make a mistake or two, because he's still young. Overall, he's going to be VERY impressive and will score multiple times. I also see him getting a BIG run or two.

Double Trouble will combine for around 150 and at least one score between them. They will just build on what they did last week.

CJ and Hardy will plain get after Ryan. Atlanta's OL is not that impressive, so I see us getting some pressure with the 4 and 5 man rushes.

The rest of the defense will play about what we would expect. A couple missed assignments here and there. I don't see us giving up the big play this week though. I do see us forcing a couple turnovers though.

My wild card this week, ST. Our ST will get a TD. Why? Because it looked better last week against a better team than we're facing this week. I see either a KO or a PR going to the house (or at least damn close).

I say... That the team and fanbase needs a big statement win. Almost had it last week, but damn it if almost doesn't count.

I don't care if Cam throws fir negative 10 yards so long as we win by at least 17

I don't see that being an issue. After the way Forte ran through us, I don't think we'll have a repeat. At least, I'm hoping. That is the only thing I see us possibly having trouble with. Honestly, we could stack the box with 8, because we know Ryan can't throw the deep ball and Gamble is gonna be on White. Just don't see Turner getting more than 100 or so.

Reasons

#1 - Atlanta's defense isn't playing very well and on top of that they will be missing a few key players this weekend.

They are horrible on Pass defense (#28 giving up just shy of 300 ypg and allowing QB's to post an average passer rating of 97.1. They also have given up 5 passes over 40 yards and 24 over 20 + yards.)

However, Atlanta is very stout against the run (#8 in the NFL, giving up less then 90 ypg and 3.5 ypc)

#2 - Atlanta's Offensive line is pretty bad, the major culprits being Sam Baker and Reynolds. Since Atlanta's starting center is out and the guard play is pretty bad for the Falcons, it should allow Carolina's defense to penetrate and stop Turner from breaking big gains.

#3 - Matt Ryan is playing pretty bad because of poor protection from his line. Carolina should be able to get pressure early in the game and throw the Falcon passing attack off it's game even more.

As long as Carolina limits the mistakes and plays decent on ST's this will be a blowout, Atlanta's offense isn't powerful or showning any signs of life this season compared to last season. Ranking 19 in total offense, 22nd in QB rating and have given up 14 sacks so far this season.

I'm worried about the ST and will remain so until they prove me wrong. Even after the blocked extra point last week, we did nothing to slow down the rush off the right side.

Special teams have cost us at least 2 games this year. I need to see consistency before I become a believer.

Cam scores 3 by air, 1 by ground, DeAngelo scores another while rushing for 100+ and J-Stew chips in with 50+.

Atlanta scores once early, a FG before the half and once in garbage time.

Defense has two INTs, no big runs on special teams, Turner only gains 35 and Ryan walks out of the stadium to a chorus of boos.
