True story

A girl I know is married to an ex tattoo artist/piercer

she recently got both nipples re-pierced without consulting him, and he flipped out.

You see, your nipples will forever, no matter how much you clean them, produce a white pus. He couldn't stomach the reality of that and told her to take them out, which she did.
