Marty Hurney NOT intersted in Lloyd

I could not disagree more. The offense is not fine. A few pieces of the offense are fine. We DO NOT have a #2 WR. Sure Lafell has made a few good catches this season but he cannot make them when it counts. And don't even get me started on NaNooooo. This dude sucks. When it comes down to it. WR is one of the biggest needs on the team.

the offense as is is good enough to hang over 25 points on any team in the league.

the problem is our defense sucks enough to let any team in the league hang more points on the board.

this offense should be good enough to win games and would were it not held back by a swiss cheese defense and one of the worst STs in the league.

We need a linebacker and a DT.

We don't really need another receiver, not with Gettis coming back next season.

Ron Edwards will be back next year also, so that helps our defensive line a lot. So our needs could really change going into the draft. It's going to be tough to get a WR to fall to us where ever we maybe. I'm starting to look at CB,OLB,and WR as the biggest needs, especially if we dont land somebody like a Vincent Jackson in free agency.

We can score all we want, but as evidenced by the Saints game if we can't stop the other team from marching right down the field and scoring on us then it doesn't matter.
ATL isn't going to march down the field as well as other teams have.

we can outscore that team.

I mean I'm not torn up either way, but isn't this the same guy who shot down the idea of getting Keyshawn Johnson on the radio and signed him the next day? Unless Joe Person is also Harry Potter and went all legilimency on his ass, it doesn't mean anything.

That was Steve Reed, and it was in print, not on radio.

As for this, said many times I'm not interested in trading future picks just to make a rebuilding year suck a little less than it will anyway.

The Denver beat writer was the one that reported it, and that was probably just speculation on his part.
