Just downloaded a book I need for class that cost me $10, and for whatever reason just an iPad and iPhone can play that damn thing. Any way to plug in my iPhone to my laptop without having it sync my library? The songs and complete library I want are on my desktop at home and I just want to put the book I bought on my iPhone without losing the music thats on my phone.

Is this possible?
