Married for 18 years and I can't think of a time I didn't open a door for her and almost always opened the car door for her also. But don't listen to me, I am now temporarily living with a co-worker and headed for divorce. That's what happens when you get the little things right but really fug up the big things.

Sorry to hear.

Been happily married for 23 years.

Still open doors for her, give her my coat when she is cold, my sunglasses when she forgets hers, buy her flowers at the grocery store for no reason, watch what she wants on TV, hold her hand randomly when we are in a store, cook dinner on the weekends, fill up her tank if we are in her car, and on and on.

Anything she wants. She is the center of my universe and I go out of my way to make sure she knows it.

That is totally awesome.

Do you still open the car door for your lady? Do you give her your coat when it gets chilly outside and she forgot hers?

I'm asking because today I saw this couple that I haven't seen in like forever. They used to come over when I was a kid, Today I saw them again, They're still together and when they were leaving. He opened the car door for his lady, then she proceeded to unlock the door for him..

Thought that was kinda nice. Chivalry isn't dead?

When I get married, I don't know if I'll be like that, but I will sure try. :D

I absolutely do all of those things.

I found an incredible woman who actually will put up with my sorry ass.

I am not doing anything to remind her that she could have done a hell of a lot better than me.
