Seriously, how good would Cam be without Smitty on the field in his rookie season? I'm just saying as awesome as Cam has been, what a gift he has in Smitty. Long term his talent is just too good not to stand out, but without Smitty on the field in his rookie year, things likely would be much different for Cam and the Panthers. Thank God we didn't trade him.
It would certainly limit or change his stats.

But then again all Smitty's targets would get spread around.

So, LaFell+Olsen+Shockey and that other guy would all have more targets more targets= more catches.

Maybe LaFell would emerge?

Or that Tutu guy from San Diago?

Yes, I knew of my error even b4 you. And it was my 1st thread ever, LOL. Its tough driving and typing at the same time. I guess I just had a little more attention to the driving than the typing :) Sure wish I could edit topic titles though.

You need better priorities while driving and posting - next time just hit the cat and spell the post right . . .

Damn. This can be a tough crowd. Not driving anymore for all the safety officers out there.

I agree that Cam makes Smitty great too. The last 2 years have been really tough for Smitty, not because of his talent but because of some of the worst QB play I have ever seen.

it's a tough crowd when people do stupid things.. like ask dumb questions and especially posting said dumb questions while driving..

How good would Cam be without Smitty? How good Cam be without Olsen and Shockey? how good would Cam be with only freshman college players? How good would Cam be without an offensive line?

If you don't like the topic then don't read it and definitely don't contribute anything. There are many other threads to read and contribute to if u prefer. I thought the purpose of this message board was for Panther fans to discuss their favorite team. Not to put down and harass fellow fans.

so you didn't like where I was going with this discussion? I did raise a good point....

this forum SHOULD be to help educate the majority of fans who seem to have left their common sense at home yet are still creating topics to discuss..

Apparently you do not understand the topic. Let me repeat it. The point of this topic was to discuss "how good would Cam be without Smitty this year?" It was a serious question meant to give kudos to Smitty and Cam. By the way, I will pass on u educating me wise guy. Someone like u obviously doesn't have many friends and has a pathetic need to try and bully people online because they have an inferiority complex. Have a good day though :) I will not respond to u again. Anything else you say will just make you look even more rude and pathetic. End of discussion from me.

Wait, I totally misunderstood what you were saying.. I thought you were saying "how good would Cam be without Smitty this year?", but as you informed me, you meant "how good would Cam be without Smitty this year?"..

Next I think we should discuss how good would Cam be without receivers altogether..
