Cam and Auburn cleared

How about the Daddy Cecil "Oh-fug-what-the-hell-have-I-done-I-better-make-the-best-of-what-I-can-and-go-to-Auburn" scenario? Wouldn't that also be a rational conclusion based on the only evidence that we DO know?

I guess. But Cam has a history with Mullen with him being his OC at Florida. So there's some relation there. So why would he leave to go to play for Gene Chizik of all people. Plus, nothing was known of the pay for play at the time. So why panic?

When's the last time Miss State had a quarterback drafted in the 1st round? And, yes, he was going to play for Gene Chizik, but he was ALSO going to play for Gus Malzahn.

I don't think that's very relevant when he went to Auburn. It's not like Auburn is known for their QBs either.

Your scenario in my eyes just isn't very probable (possible, I guess). That' my opinion, I'm assuming you think his/his dad's recruitment to Auburn was clean. I just find that hard to believe in today's game when players are known to be receiving benefits. It's just the nature of CFB.

Ahhhhh... there he is.

Does reporting the "truth" and the "facts" still mean anything to you, C42[)14C C47?

If so, you're ready to admit that you were wrong on this issue, right? Because you're a journalist and all about professionalism and integrity?

I'm not getting into this poo....but if you believe anything the NCAA says I've got some beach front property in Kansas City for sale....

Spin that into me hating Cam however you want, I couldn't fuging care less anymore. The people who've actually held an intelligent conversation with me on here know I support Cam, and know that the NCAA is also crooked as hell....

Oh, I see. So all that stuff about journalist only want the truth and only follow the facts that you preached to me earlier is just a load of poo.

Yeah, that's what I always thought in the first place before you tried to point out to me how wrong I was. 80 interviews across multiple states and examining reams of financial and computer records and e-mails mean nothing because you "know".

THAT, my young friend, is exactly what I said previously is the problem with journalism. They don't care about fact. They don't follow the facts. Why? Because, like you, they "know".

Thanks for SO succinctly proving my point. You have been a fantastic case study.

Yes I do because I don't have an ax to grind against Auburn. So, I don't feel the need to jump on the "guilty without proof built on assumption and cyncism" bandwagon...Show me clear proof of guilty then I will believe. Not even the NCAA stated Cecil was running around trying to sell his son. but I guess that isn't good enough for folks who want the world to believe that Auburn couldn't have been so lucky..

This whole ish with Cam sounds more like bitter angry fans from schools who seem to be upset that Cam didn't play for their school after seeing what he help Auburn achieve. Haters can't help themselves...I guess these fans now have something to use against the NCAA when their schools pay for their players and get actually get caught.

U can put away your pitch folks and torches and go home now..The Aburn witchhunt is over.

Like I said I'm not getting into it, especially on the Panthers forum derailing a positive thread about our QB. If you would like to have an intelligent debate and hear why the NCAA is full of poo you're welcome to create a thread on the college football forum and I will come discuss it there.....
