Everybody who thinks that Julius Peppers is going to turn into a happy camper is dreaming. I believe he must hate Carolina worse now than when he made his original statement.

You're damn right! You know if they could get Pep in a fire deal they'd be the first ones there.

Peppers is not jamming the FO up, any more than the FO is jamming him up. It's all business. These are the rules that both sides must play by. Everyone knew that there was a great possibility of it coming to this type of scenario. The concept of a "tag" was created for a reason, and by its very nature is meant to "jam" one side or the other, or both sides together. It's all business, and it's kind of irrational to blame one side or the other.

Ok, to all of those out there that think Fox couldn't get everything out of Pep, I have two words that will shatter any and all arguments that you have and they are "Michael Strahan" why is this important, because Strahan broke the NFL sack record with Fox as the DC for the Giants, if Fox can get Strahan to break the NFL sack record you could say that if anything he's one of the most qualified people out there to get the maximum out of Peppers.

And I agree with Buckner on is if Peppers hasn't reached his potential after being in the NFL as long as he has, he has no one to blame but himself.

This has been my position as well. Micheal Strahan, Bruce Smith, Reggie White has seen double and triple teams their whole career, so how did he get so many sacks and stay diruptive? Heart and fire. Pep, in my unbiased opinion, has had the same rap from college follow him in the pros: he takes plays, and sometimes whole games off.

He has all the potential in the world, but maybe is comfortable just being that, nothing more.
