but....i'm willing to go OOAL and say that going forward he is going to be the new standard that rookie QBs are judged by and later on could very well be the standard that all QBs are judged by. if we can get into the playoffs and win the superbowl early in this guy's career, teams are going to be looking for their cam newton.

Why does Cam draw so much attention to himself after a TD? To me that's a clue to his character. You guys are ignoring it now because he's new, but I wonder what you'll be saying when he or someone in his posse gets in trouble with the law.

He's not as athletic as Vick and his size isn't as good as Ben's. Also he doesn't have as accurate a deep ball as Rivers (He has a better arm but most QBs do really, Rivers doesn't have the greatest arm but he's accurate all the way out to his max range).

I like Cam a lot but to say he's second to none right now is insane.
