LB Stephen Cooper to be released(Chargers)

This actually bugs me b/c i'm a Chargers fan too. This means Tolbert is gonna be out for a while if they gotta sign a RB. But yeah the Panthers need Cooper, however a 3-4 LB, but god we need all the help on special teams we can get.

You mean Matthews right? Tolbert has a concussion, the bye coming now is perfect. So he should be fine. Matthews was the one that has the injury..

He got a concussion vs. DEN - but he's expected to be back for the Jets game. We have a bye, so he's probably not gonna miss anything. Mathews is expected to be back for the Jets as well, but they are going to likely move up Summers or Brinkley to avoid anything like what happened in Denver from happening again.

I would say its more that they just know the system. Like Gathers and Naanee

I know Matthews is starting to pull away w/ most of the carries, but you could do a helluva lot worse that him as a flex play or bye filler.
