LB Adam Seward

he was quality backup but got buried on our depth chart. panthers didn't feel like he could handle the start and worked to make sure we didn't have to rely on him in that capacity. he didn't do horrible for us by any means, he just wasn't that good.

i don't know about him doing a lot of complaining, though. he might have been frustrated on a couple occasions but i don't know how vocal he was about it.

STs he was good to have around. i hope he gets a chance to start there. with the talent we have at LB there was very little chance of that happening here.

i hope he does well for you guys. he has some potential.

He did a pretty good job subbing in when Dan Morgan was injured (think it was early 2006). He seems to get nicked up kinda easy. (ankle sprains and such)

He's got a good attitude, and when he's on the field is full on. He's started multiple things in TC's cuz he'd go all out on the RB's when he wasn't supposed to/need to in practice. I know Foster and him got into a few lil beefs. Nothing big... just normal TC stuff.

The Pats worked him out last season, but never gave him an offer sheet. He was a bit bummed about that, but played though it last season with us. And now he's moved on.

I wish him luck getting a starting spot.

Hello! Colts fan here. just curious hoe this guy did for you. was he any good? I know he was a back up, but what you saw of him, did you like?

i remember a few offseasons ago, a few of our players were asked who the hardest hitter on the team was, and they all said Seward.

that was true...it wasn't a matter of if he was going to get into it at TC...it was a matter of when, how often, and with whom.

i can't remember if he got into it with anyone this past year. smith/lucas and otah/brayton kind of overshadowed other ones.

nothing major, though.

Seems like new england didnt sign him to an offer sheet cuz it would have required giving us 5th round pick back..I personally think hes a really good backup and did well when he had to start for us. It would be interesting to see what happens if you guys give him a chance to start, but i wouldnt expect anything more than for him to be a solid backup

As others have said it wasn't his ability to play but often his ability to stay healthy. He has had trouble recovering from injuries and seems a slow healer. When he plays he does well. He doesn't play enough to justify keeping him. When we picked up Connor it pretty much sealed Seward's fate.
