Want To See Why We're Going To Be Feared For The Next Decade Or So?

Definitely see the hurt. The disappointment. That will drive him. Hopefully Smitty explains to him how to handle this right now, since Smitty went through it in 2002. Just have to keep plugging away and keep playing hard. Eventually, everything will come together. Outside of the blocked PAT, ST played much better. Run D was solid for the most part. Just have to be smarter in coverage. Too many open receivers. Cam sees all of this, and he knows we're close to being VERY dangerous. Just kills him (as it does most of us) to come so close to being undefeated, only to watch it slip away.

Again, Cam is probably looking at that INT and thinking "what if?" Rightfully so, I might add. But he can't beat himself up. Based on what we know of him, that is probably what he is doing. He will be fine. I am not worried about "ruining" him with these close loses. These are good. Learning how it feels to fail and eventually, this team will learn how it feels to win. And, after that, they will learn how to dominate. As Cam said when he was first drafted, this isn't like instant grits. It's like collard greens. It's a process and it will take time.

As good as he is, hes played a key part in all the losses so far. I hope hes pissed.

I think he makes up for them though. I mean, outside of the GB game, he leads us on scoring drives more than he turns the ball over. The rest falls on defense. Some of the missed throws are aggravating, but it is what you expect. It is his first year and he's just getting his feet wet. Even his bad games are still pretty good for where he is at in his progression right now. But I do agree, I hope he is pissed about his short-comings as an individual. Can't expect any player to be perfect, but you DEFINITELY want them to strive for perfection week in and week out for their entire career. That is how guys like Brady, Manning, and Brees got to be where they are.

The coaches are constantly putting the game on this guys shoulders, so the failures are going to hurt him that much more. Said it over and over, theyre like kids with a shiny new toy. They are infatuated with him, want him to be the saviour of the team, to the point where its costing wins and tearing him up. Idiots.

The only thing I'm worried about with Cam is that he's gonna start punching some ST players that f*ck up...

Otherwise, I'm very happy with his demeanor both on and off the field. He doesn't pout about mistakes, he goes right back out and plays forgetting about the previous plays... I'm glad he doesn't like losing. As much as I used to like Pep, his laughing and nonchalance on the sidelines during/after losses always used to piss me off.
