the year after our defense looks good compared to our pooty offense, our offense looks good compared to our pooty defense

aint life grand

but really, im kind of worried of newtons pysch, hopefully he'll keep working hard instead of breaking down from our inevitable losses

Newton will be fine. Reality is that WE WILL NOT make the playoffs this year, and there never was a chance of it.

I absolutely love this guy. The offense is not the problem this year. It's sadly the defense...but the OP got it right...this team will be feared for years to come.

If you can rewatch the pregame when Newton ran out, do it. I think he has a clear state of mind at the beginning of every game.

It sucks because every game has been close. You'd have to be blind not to see the potential though. The defense has too many holes, especially up the middle. Dan Connor is no Jon Beason. The rookie DTs are struggling at times. It's just a young team trying to scrape together wins against veteran squads. They've come close and that's where you can hang your hat. I think all of us would prefer to lose these heartbreakers than to have the opponent score a TD and know the game is over (like in 2010).
