I do think nicknames suck (there are exceptions to that though, i.e. Megatron) but mostly I'm anti-nicknames. A buddy of mine is calling them the "Carolina Co-Canes". Don't think I'll take part, haha, but wanted to share since the thread was here.

If we have to give them knick-names I would go with Thunder and Lightning. Simple but cool. I'd like to see them get more touches, although they've been getting involved every game..

Intentionally naming something is dumb. Nicknames should just come about, not be nominated, voted upon, and have a declared winner likes it's a Presidential election or bath time at Salty's house.

That said-I've been calling them Shock and Thor. Makes sense.

Yes David Gettis 6 rd pick , I miss him on the squad. Really hoping that he gets healthy ASAP and his Lelow really haven't seen or heard after the rehab article. Just imagine the treat every game we would be posing for other D. My fav play of Gettis was the 76 yrd TD vs BAL .
