Meh. Expert picks are the same as general public consensus. We all know who is supposed to win. Any fan with decent knowledge should be able to pick just as well as the "experts".

U not lying...I picked the Bills to beat the Patriots when all those so called experts were burning incense at the alter of that team. And there was no scientific usage outside of good ole ingenuity and gut feeling.

Yup, it's amazing to have that feeling again. It's true though... we have a realistic chance to win every single game we play. And as we all know it's simply not like that every year, but this year it definitely is. Especially when you look at how explosive our offense is. Until that final whistle I have faith in this team each week to pull out the victory. It does make it even more frustrating though when you know you can win the game, but you fall just short week after week. We're going to turn that corner though and beating the Saints would be a huge marquee win for us. It's awesome how energized this entire organization is and yet we're sitting at 1-3. That's extremely encouraging and the wins will come.

So hell yeah -- I pick us to win every week too.

It really comes down to whether our offense can pick it up in the redzone and score. Our defenses are actually pretty close. They are better in run defense and we are better in pass defense. They have a few more sacks but they have more sack opportunities.

If our offense can keep up with Brees then the deciding factor will be special teams and limiting big plays. Until we can show we have stopped shooting ourselves in the foot and giving games away, it is hard to pick us to win.

Once we play fundamentally more sound in all three phases, we can match up with anyone. Does anyone honestly think we have done that in the last 4 weeks??

It isn't that New Orleans is better so much as we have not shown we can eliminate mistakes and win the game outright.

I have a feeling that will be a running theme all season. Young team and with all the injuries on the D we are even younger now and no experience. But if we could cut out one major mistake a game that might be enough to win since it seems that is what we are losing by...one mistake.

Well the Panthers were almost unanimously picked to beat the Jaguars and they did. The Panthers are now picked to lose to the Saints...
