I'm also one of the lone So-Cal Panther fans. And I've been representing this team and protecting our label in the sports bars since I was a little kid.

I'm not a Cam nuthugger, but I've been a Panthers fan since they came into existence. I've never lived south of Connecticut my entire life, so...

I was in boyscouts back then and our patrol was named the Panthers, and we started using their logo in, I dunno, 94 or whatever, it was before the first games were played. That year, for Christmas I got a Panthers jacket. Been following the team ever since, though I became what most might call obsessed in 2002 for no particular reason.

Left Connecticut, went to Vermont, then to Massachusetts, and all the while, been a Panthers fan. :)

I've got a cool story for you bros.

I'm stationed in Australia right now. I was downtown this morning wearing my Newton jersey and two Australian kids, around 18 or 20, were running down the sidewalk past me and one turned back and hollered "Go Carolina!". Thought that was pretty interesting, from what I've seen in my year here so far Australians in general don't really pay much attention to "gridiron" as they call it.

I'm in Cali and I've been a Panthers fan since day one. Was wearing my jersey the other day to watch the game at Hooters with my pops. Had several people tell me I probably only became a Panthers fan because of Cam Newton. I wanted to break my beer mug over some skulls, but I have rage issues that have landed me in very hot water before so I maintained low tones.

Same. There are very few of us Panthers fans in Southern California. I'm already sort of dreading all of the bandwagoners this team will bring in once they become successful. I hope wearing a Panthers jersey never becomes like wearing a Pats/Steelers/Cowboys/Packers jersey. :out:

The 2003 season is what sucked me in. I caught the first and 2nd games, which both went down to the last play, and from then on I was hooked. After that season, in which every game seemed to come down to the last play, I was addicted.

I've been a Panther fan since they entered the league (I was 11 at the time) and really got into the team, strangely enough, during the 2001 season when we went 1-15. We played a lot of close games that year, and drafted Smitty, and Steve grew into my favorite player back when he was returning kicks. Being from eastern NC, I might as well be from another state. Things are. . .different. . .around here.

I got my newton jersey framed. I wear my weinke jersey everywhere as a credit to the man that had one of the biggest impacts in newtons development that no ones talking about.

I see a few Panther fans all around Va Beach, usually say something when I see somebody wearin Carolina gear. Havent seen a Cam jersey yet, but lots of people say somethin about him & how talented the kid is...

Been a Panther fan since week3 of '95. Was workin on a tugboat in Morehead City, was the only game I could get on the rabbit ears... Hooked ever since...
