What i found entertaining is the majority felt a 3rd round pick was worth shipping steve smith off to another team.

I think the majority felt that we couldn't possibly get anything better than that for him and thought he wanted to leave so if we could get that all the better.

We all knew Smitty would be better with anyone other than Clausen throwing him the ball... I thought it would depend on how he took to the new system as to whether or not he'd produce.

I have put up with all of Smith's indiscretions in the past and I have always loved him but I did have a problem when he said he wanted to leave me for someone else, I mean leave the team but other then that he has my full support.

Holy poo people get it right. This has been one of the most reported and most false rumors I've ever seen. He never said he wanted to leave. He only implied that he'd consider leaving. If he had wanted to leave, he'd be gone.
