Who is the most badass Tight End in college?

I don't watch a ton of college football, but I was wondering who you guys think the most badass tight end is right now? The reason I ask is that the Panthers rely heavily on two TE sets, and Shock and Olsen are badass, but Shock won't be around for too much longer probably. So who would make a great pass-catching, athletic complament to Olsen moving forward if Shockey isn't around?

Well if its who we can possible get (considering there is no way we use a 1st or 2nd on a TE at this point) I like Coby Fleener outta Stanford. Tall, (6'6 250) athletic and is savvy as a receiver. Not going to blow by anyone but will go up and get those balls. Not a great blocker but isn't terrible in that area. Probably a late 2nd-3rd rounder (even though we don't have a 3rd) but he might slip into the 4th.

Funny you mention him, because he was the only one I've really seen. Stanford and Cal football is all I really watch. I go to a lot of Stanford games but never thought much of Fleener because Pac 12 defenses aren't exactly tough to tear apart lol. Good to hear someone on the outside thinks highly of him. I'll pay more attention this weekend when he goes up against Colorado.

I watched a ton of Stanford games last year (considering I wanted both there coach and there QB) so I got to see him play quite a bit. I don't believe he would be starting material day 1 but with some strength and conditioning he could work his way into the lineup as Shockey retires or leaves. But I really don't see us drafting another TE.

Like I said I don't see us drafting another TE but another one I like is Tyler Eifert outta ND. Great blocker with good hands. Also is a very good route runner and has a real passion for the game. He's a RS Soph so he probably wont come out this year but the guys a beast. IMO the most complete TE in college football.
