The word from practice..

After the disappointment of Naanee's play, and the fact Ajirotutu can't even get on the field, I really hope they never bring in another guy from San Diego unless his name is Vincent Jackson.

Malcolm Floyd?

He would be a huge help to SS, and for that matter Cam.

I'm not claiming I know more than Rivera. I'm sure he's spot on about which one is better at understanding the offense. But, let's be fair to Brandon, Naane played in this offense for awhile in San Diego and Brandon didn't have long at all to start learning with lack of OTAs.

Ask yourself this question: Who has performed better on the field?

Trust me, I hear you. I share the same opinion as you. I would like to see Brandon as the starting #2. I am just willing to admit that my opinion is not as well informed as our coaches.

We know that no coach has ever shown unreasonable loyalty to any of "his" players. That would never happen.

so it is your assertion that our first year head coach and o coordinator have chosen blind loyalty to some guy that was buried on the offensive unit of their previous team (on a unit which neither of them coached or controlled as tight ends coach and defenensive coordinator), in favor of playing a guy that gives our team a better chance to win games in their first years as a head coach and offensive coordinator?

every now and again, as a fan, you have to just take a step back and realize that there isn't a chance in hell that you know more than the coaching staff. they are going to go with the guy that gives us the best chance to win the game. .

Not true.

In 2009 Jake Delhomme did not give this team the best chance to win despite Fox saying it over and over again.

From trash collectors, accountants, to NFL coaches......people in EVERY profession have people that do retarded things. NFL coaching is not unique to that common rule of life. NFL coaches are human...which means they flat out do retarded things at times that ignore common sense and reality.

My assertion is that sometimes coaches do exactly what you described above. Not saying that is the case here, but coaches go with who they have a comfort level with and sometimes will not go with the best guy because they don't yet have a comfort level with that guy.
