This is not a good comparison. Shockey has always done crazy stuff defending his team and his teammates. TO has just been a media and attention *****. Two completely different things.

I agree completely and was going to make the same point. Shockey might be a little too verbose sometimes and overly passionate (not that it's a bad thing...just can be a lightning rod)but I still think he wants to win and has been a winning teammate to those on 2 Super Bowl teams. He's been a great teammate on Panthers and seems like he's helped Cam and Olsen.

T.O. has divided way too many locker rooms and at the end of the day all he wants is the ball and spotlight. Only person's back he's had is Romo's and that might be the one person he should have light up!!!

I was discussing this on a podcast me and some friends were recording earlier tonight. I've always like the talent of T.O. Sure, he is arrogant as hell, but he's not a prick like LeBron or Tom Brady. I am for bringing him in because I think he would do nothing but help the team. Sure, he drops a lot of balls, but imagine what defenses would have to do defending Steve, T.O., and hopefully, worrying about our rushing attack? We'd be unstoppable...

Please don't put Lebron and Brady in the same sentence. I understand if you hate Brady but you have to respect the guy. He gets it done! One of the best QBs to ever play this game. Last I checked, he was the leader of his team and led them to multiple superbowls...you can't say this about LEbron and definitely not T.O. Neither of them have proven to be true leaders and have caved in the spotlight/big games. So please don't be ignorant and compare Tom Brady to Lebron or T.O.

I say YES! last year the guy (that most people on here say he's done) had almost 1,000 receiving and 9 TD's. Who on the Panthers right now can do that? maybe maybe LaFell, but he's not that much of a threat like T.O. would be. T.O. may be 38 but he takes care of himself probably the best in the NFL, he real age is prob like 30. Ron Rivera could handle T.O.

No way does this young team need to sign T.O.. If we had playoff potential, it might be a different matter. Since we are in a rebuilding mode, i believe he would create more problems for the team than he would be helpful.

I would say possibly if it wasn't such a young/new team, but hell maybe to could turn over a new leaf. I don't see cam as being one to take crap from an old, over hyped, pre madonna wr who bitches. Cam wants to win, if to got in the way I'm sure he would be told off by cam.
