My daughter is 2.5 yrs old. It's very hard to do much when you have a young child. It's unfair to your spouse if you go out often because the child still requires a lot of care. If your child is older and can shower/dress/put themselves to bed, it's a different story.

Also I don't really know very many people where we live, we moved down here after we had the child and I just know a couple people that live in Wilmington who are from my hometown.

or don't take the dogs. i went out yesterday afternoon. uncw chicks on the beach and the water is still in the mid 70s. maybe rent a board depending on what the surf looks like.

In real life, I know I would do all the annoying projects that are hanging over my head.

1) Regrout shower

2) Rehang chandelier in dining room at height wife wants

3) Clean and organize garage

4) Winterize cars

All the stuff that is damn near impossible to do with kids getting in to everything while you try to work.

My wife and daughter left for West Virginia just a minute ago and aren't coming back till Sunday. Ohh the things to be done.

Be careful of the choices you make there my friend...Make the wrong ones one too many times and one day they will take that trip and just not come back.

Go to Brix drink good beer, and watch a movie by yourself.

Go get a new XBox game and enjoy the quiet time with said game.

Go Surf Fishing.

Make a great pot of Chili.
