3-4 OLB to 4-3 LB question...

I have been wondering about this for a while. If a 3-4 OLB HAD TO play LB in a 4-3, wouldn't the weakside be easiest for him to transition to since he doesn't have to worry about the TE that much and also since that's where most hybrid DEs play when their defense switches from a 3-4 to a 4-3?

If we're sticking with strictly weak/strong here, I would think that the strong side would be easier, as they are often on the LOS head-up over the TE with similar responsibilities.

But OLBs in a 3-4 rarely cover TEs. Most of the time that's the ILB job. OLBs are mainly pass rushers in a 3-4. The strong side in a 4-3 requires the LB to cover the TE most of the time.
