Yes. Hate him or not, he's one of the greatest players in our franchises short history. I can't blame him for wanting out- we have been one of the sorriest franchises in the L in recent years. I don't like the manner in which he left, but if he were to express remorse and apologize for that I would welcome him back with open arms.

Moose said in his retirement speech at the stadium that he left because of money. It's money for all these guys and the people that make decisions are smart enough to know it's just business. I hate Peppers for how he made a big deal about the situation and how he's acted since he left, but do I blame him for taking a poo ton of money? Not at all.

I say yes. He is and will always be a Tarheel. Peppers played the way he played and left the way he left because of the way the team was ran. It's the same reason Smitty and Deangelo entertained the idea of leaving.

The only thing bad about him is that he didn't suck it up and play through it like Beason and everybody else that was still trying to make it happen. Fox and co. became stale settling for game managers playing not to lose for years. You could see the frustration in everybody's faces so I can't understand why people blame Pep. I was tired of the 3rd and long draw and 6 turnover games. I couldn't imagine how the players were feeling

Yes. I would embrace him coming home, even though it's far fetched to think Chicago will ever let him walk away.

Maybe one day he will wake up and realize he wants to retire as a Panther and signs a one day contract, I would be cool with that.
