Yep. Matt Moore has been pretty good. In the last 5 games he has taken on and defeated such teams as Kansas City, Buffalo, and Washington :rolleyes:. And despite having one of the best defenses in the NFL he couldn't quite muster up wins against the Giants and Dallas.

So as long as he plays a pooty team and is aided with a top ten defense....

Please note the defense wasn't that good until they had a QB to believe in. Maybe our defense would get better if they had one of their own to believe in.

Moore also had leads against the Giants and Dallas until his "top ten" defense squandered them.

Moore is not elite. I will not argue that he can win games on his own, but less than a handful of QBs can. When Moore has the littlest bit of support, he's one of the best in the game.

Moore is more of a team guy than some other QBs around so he'd probably let his linemen, backs, and receivers hold the Lombardi rather than holding #1 in the sky and holding the trophy himself. He realizes he isn't an icon and entertainer, just a humble guy who plays a little football. He realizes he isn't bigger than his teammates and they are just as important to his success as his natural ability is. He knows he isn't Superman and is heavily involved in the community without being told to do so and without cameras present. Moore is as real and as humble a QB as you will find.
