They are going after someone because Moore is the only healthy qb on the roster right now. They have to sign someone, and Delhomme is probably as good as anyone available right now.

I think Henne was/is on his way to a solid season. He's doing things he has never done before, reading the field, progressing, moving in the pocket, pulling the ball down and running, making throws down the field, trusting his WRs etc etc. Everything a good qb would do in his 3rd year as a starter.

The offensive line blows, he's been getting killed, someone I post with at thephins.com has been concerned with the amount of hits Henne has taken this season, and that he wouldnt last......wouldnt you know it? He gets his shoulder blown up on Sunday. Henne will be ok in this league. But if we get Luck, it won't be with the Dolphins.

Moore is actually in a great situation. He got to start the season with an NFL club last year and unfortunately was injured after a poor start.

Now he may be starting the rest of the season this year. Not saying he's on his way to being the next Brett Favre, but he has an opportunity. He could establish himself as a backup in the league for years to come with how he performs.

All you can ask for in the NFL is a chance and Moore was denied that constantly by Fox and co. Now he has that chance. Even if they bring other QBs in, Moore has the advantage since he knows the playbook and any newcomer will only have a couple weeks to catch up.

I hope Jake gets the job because he deserves to be on a roster. I've let go of 2009 and the 2008 playoffs now. When I remember Jake I remember 2003-05 and the '08 regular season.

Wow! After watching Cam play and Luck play I'm glad Luck stayed in college. Who ever gets the number one pick next year and drafts Luck will get just about what we did in the 2nd round last year, mostly hype.
