Cam Newton vs Andrew Luck - Now who would you choose?

No way the Colts keep Manning and draft Luck. Too much $$$ tied up in the QB position. Luck will go to a team where he will have to be the man from day one.

Manning's contract protects the colts if he were to retire (you can look this up if you don't believe me). It would be a perfect situation for both of them.

cam's still got room to grow too. just wait until next year when the game slows down for him.

he's still just reacting out there and getting the job done at the same time. once teams have to start reacting to him it could be over for them.

I'm not dead certain it'll take till next season for that to happen.

Granted, that's the most logical time frame, but he's progressing pretty well, better than most would have expected. Still gotta work out some kinks and try to make sure he drops some bad habits, but significant progress this season is a legitimate possibility.

As much as you guys hyped up Luck youd think he won a Heisman or led his team to a title. This spring it was all but certain Luck was the better prospect, now its he could be. Lol. Luck is gonna have a tough time living up to the hype of "clearly being better than Cam". Dude might just say fug it and become an architect.

I will say that the all the doubters made it much easier for Cam. A lot of people are expecting the next John Elway from Luck immediately.

The game will start slowing down, already has possibly...but when he steps on the field fresh next season after a full off season...

I dunno, the kid still has a lot of area to improve, and that's kind of an intimidating thought at this point.

if Luck didn't want to come to Carolina, fine. Let him rot on the Bengals or some team like that.

Why would the Bengals get him??? they have Andy Dalton and he's playing fine.

The pressure and hype Luck is now gonna be forced to live up to I wouldnt wish on any kid. His myth is now a huge burden.

i dont think he's a myth, i think he will be a really good, possibly great NFL QB and same with Cam with the exception that he's doing it now and Luck is going to try to do this next year.

Valid.

Offseason roster tweaks and more practice time in the system should help a lot too.

lol i think the picture is becoming clearer and clearer which direction Cam's career is headed every week

his presence on the offense is the only reason we haven't lost a game by more than 1 score

Really? The guy has played four, FOUR, games. After the first few weeks of the '98 season people were saying Indy should've taken Leaf.

I never wanted Luck, I wanted Cam all along.
