I was on the Luck bandwagon all last year, and I wanted nothing to do with Cam.

Neither is Luck......but that isn't stopping media from speculating that he is going to be so good that teams might be willing to sabotage this season for him...At least Cam has, so far, proven himself in the NFL...

Can't believe the guy said he would sabotage his team to get Luck...Like WTF..Isn't Luck the kid who lost every QB award to Cam while Cam was in college last season??? So Cam has to prove he belongs in the NFL because of is college years while Luck gets a free pass into the NFL because of what he's doing in college...These media folks and their fantasies..:frown2::frown2:

For me Luck is a good prospect mainly because of his playmaking ability but Newton and Locker are not only both better playmakers but both have better arm strength.

First off, i think people under rate Luck's playmaking ability. People assume he cant move, but he can, is he as fast as Locker, no. is he as mobile as Newton, no, but he can move, i agree his arm isnt as strong, but he's more accurate than both.

I think what people like most about Luck is his command of Stanford's offense and his "pro-readiness". Being more "pro-ready" only matters during the 1st training camp for example Clausen was considered the most pro-ready over Bradford, McCoy and The Golden Calf of Bristol yet Clausen had the worst season.

i think people love both the pro-readiness, the accuracy and power (he does have a strong arm) and of course his mind. comparing Clausen to Luck is bad because Clausen wasnt ready to start, i think alot of that has to do with his mind, he seems to just quarterback with talent like Russell tried.

Mind you I'm not saying that Luck is a bad prospect, I think he's one of the better prospects in the upcoming draft.

But, for me right now I would have Newton and Locker rated ahead of Luck.

First off, the only prospects i see that are better than Luck are Matt Barkley and Landry Jones, but i dont know if i can put both of those guys ahead of Luck. Some may think that Robert Griffin is better, but i disagree. i do like Barkley and Jones and want them on Washington (though it's looking impossible), but i like Luck better than both. As for having Locker rated ahead of Luck, i cant say that until i see him play, but i think Luck is better. Newton now, that's another story, as of now, i think he's (Newton) a better pro, but if i had to choose without seeing Newton now, i would still choose Luck, but knowing what i know now, it would be hard to pass on Cam.

I said Cam, but I think it's too early. Both could be hall of famers though, just in my honest opinion you guys are making it sound like Cam is on a whole different level than Luck when that's a ridiculous statement.

Cam is a quarterback in the NFL currently third among all pro quarterbacks in yards passed with 1386. Luck is a college quarterback who is 54th in yards passed at 1013.

Newton is 16th in passer rating among pro quarterbacks, Luck is 6th among college quarterbacks.

So yeah Cam is on a whole different level. To say they are not is the ridiculous statement.
