No, I agree, with the writer. You're right in that Cam was never close to going down, but he just makes escaping pressure look that easy. Several plays started out with me thinking "He's going to get sacked!" I'd say about 10 times. But Cam escaped every time. An average QB would have been sacked at least 6 times in that game. Clausen would have been sacked 10, plus threw three desperation pass interceptions.

How sack-proof and fumble-proof Cam has proven to be gives me a stiffy.

We knew he'd be hard to bring down, size wise. But he seems to have the innate ability to keep one eye on the backfield and the other downfield.

That same "sense" protects him as he's running the ball. He seems to have eyes in the side and back of his head seeing the defense converge on him. And, when they finally do, he has the athleticism to (usually) avoid a direct hit.
