This is a horrible case, what's worse is the case from Virginia from a few months back.

Two Virginia parents are being held today without bail in Gloucester County jail cells, still larger than the tiny cage police say they used to imprison their young daughter, feeding her so little she was forced to eat her own skin.

Brian and Shannon Gore are awaiting trial for the attempted murder of the 5- or 6-year-old girl as well as murder, after police found the body of another child buried on their property a day after discovering the severely malnourished girl.

The couple appeared in a Gloucester County criminal court Wednesday morning where they refused bond and did not enter pleas.

The couple were arrested Thursday, when police knocking on doors during a robbery investigation stumbled upon the caged little girl, naked and covered in feces and bed sores.

Cops returned Friday and after searching a shack near the couple's trailer home, unearthed the remains of a small child. Police have yet to confirm that child's age, sex or cause of death.

Authorities are still awaiting the autopsy report in the child's death, said commonwealth attorney Robert Hicks.

In addition to the caged girl, whose age police estimate at 5 or 6, police removed a healthy 2-month-old infant. Both children were placed in protective custody.

The caged girl, whom the Gores told police was only 2-years-old, was extremely malnourished and according to Brian Gore, 29, was fed a single Pop-Tart in the morning and another Pop-Tart or sandwich at night, said Maj. Darrell Warren of the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office.

She was so hungry her bones were visible and she ate her own flaking dried skin, Warren confirmed.

These people should be killed.

Revelation 2:27

"He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery"

Tears were welling up in my eyes picturing this little boy.. and this little girl- hungry as skinny.. i am thankful we have a just and vengeful God.. these are the type of people he will dash to pieces..

Lock them up, have some guards do what they typically do. And that is, tell the other prisoners what they are in for. Lifers and repeat violent offenders won't give a damn, and they will handle them. Even convicts hate people who murder, molest, and attempt to murder kids.

There are some sick fugs out there. When I was younger, there was this couple at my church who would adopt/foster special needs children of all ages. They got a brother and sister who had been severely abused by their parents. The little girl was about 7 and she only spoke in third person, and her brother was an infant, who they said would probably never walk properly because the parents had twisted his little arms and legs and they'd broken and rehealed improperly. He also had third degree burns over most of his body because his mother would often dip him in boiling water. What special kind of fuged up do you have to be to do that to anyone, much less your own child?!?!

I did find this kind of 'derp' about the police in the Scranton article:

"I am hungry and I didn't get dinner yet," he reportedly told another officer who asked why he was crying.

You find a 7 year old kid in a diaper in a dark, bug infested basement and your ask why he's crying? Come on!

I did a program in high school for Psych class that allowed you to work with special needs kids for extra credit.

I got assigned the teacher's adopted son, Down Syndrome, developmental delay, hearing issues, the whole kit.

His birth parents kept him underneath an upside-down crib (read prison) until he was nine years old, in diapers, and NEVER spoke to him.

His language acquisition was obviously stunted by his hearing issues and the fact that he was NEVER spoken to.

Mind blowing cruelty/murder of one's own meets my standard for execution, think that dovetails well with some of my death penalty rants. And yes, their last meal would be a goddamn poptart.

    • I like that a lot; Ware from Troy and also Khalil Mack who played at University of Buffalo
    • I remember the Huddle consensus over the course of last season and the previous one. Lots of Bryce is a bust, we should've drafted a 4th slot WR, should've kept Wilks, should've kept an armless Cam, etc etc. So... yea... already thought about that. I wouldn't trust the Huddle to detail my car, let alone run a multi-billion dollar professional sports team. 😛
    • bold prediction, I think Mike Green will be the best pass rusher in this class, and thats even with abdul carter.  He reminds me of demarcus ware, not just in size and prowess, but even coming from a Sunbelt school (Ware from Troy, Green from Marshall).  I think he is passionate about the sport where I think Carter as the physical freak might not have the heart.  Thats the guy Im sold on and am gonna hammer the table for, I know he's not projected 8, but he is projected like 12-13, so if a slide back can happen and we still get the guy I want, I'm 100% on board. All that said, it takes 2 to tango, I think the Cowboys are the tango-er.  IMO theres a VERY good shot that Jeanty is available at 8.  Why does that matter?  Not only do the cowboys NEED a runningback (dak sucks without a run game), but MORE importantly, gee where did Jeanty play in high school.....Frisco TX, literally Dallas Metro.  Soo, RB is a position of need and the best RB and most blue chip draft selection that  could improve the offense immensly played IN dallas metro AND will be in range for them to move up and pick?  Do ya think Jerry Jones is gonna just say no to the Jersey Sales?  Jerry might have sexually assaulted a woman and attempted to prevent black people from going to school, but he's no idiot (he is).  IMO, we get a good enough package, prlly their first and third,  maybe a conditional later and we move to 12.  We get Green, they get Jeanty, everbuddy happy.
