Its the playin for cheap with Josh Freeman n' barely beat the Colts show down in Tampa Bay. We have to some how sweep them.

Yeah, Freeman can't be judged too harshly considering his front office seems to think fielding a team full of kids will somehow morph all of them into Pro Bowlers. He's got a lot of skills and will probably be a healthy inter-divisional rival for Cam for years to come.

I still think Cam's going to be the torchbearer sooner or later though ;)

And I think the Saints without Drew Brees would be desperate to beat the Manning-less Colts, that man is that important to their offense, and is one of the finest short to intermediate range throwers in league history.

Matt Ryan is not as good as his career W/L record may imply, but he's not a slouch either. He may have gotten a little too comfortable in his game manager role, however, and is struggling now that they've tried to open the offense without an offensive line that can protect well enough for that kind of scheme.

Our division really does have four franchise quarterbacks.

I still like Freeman a lot. He's going to be a good one, but I don't see that same 'it' factor that Cam has.

Josh Freeman looks like he has regressed IMO.

He's got the clutch gene though, can't deny him that. If he played the way he does when the game is on the line all game, he could be a monster. Hasn't shown that he can do that though.

You can honestly make the argument that Cam has been the best qb on the field in every game. That is including the Green Bay game. Well, maybe not the Green Bay game, but you get my point.... He was a better college player than Ryan & Freeman, and he will be a better pro. He is on their level already, if he hasn't surpassed them already

As much as I love Cam and am happy for the way he has picked things up, to Freeman's credit he doesn't have Steve Smith, Greg Olsen and double trouble + probowl 3 probowl calibur O-linemen to make his life easier. Cam > Freeman anyways tho.

This. We can't underestimate how much having a guy like Steve Smith on the team has helped Cam. Tampa doesn't have anyone comparable imo. Picking up Shockey and Olsen have also helped a lot. Without those three, Cam wouldn't have had the impact that he has.

Yeah but Ryan has White and now Jones not to mention Gonzalez and he has been in the league for quite a while now. Freeman has potential but to me he is a poor mans Cam. Once Brees retires this division will belong to Cam.
