Yeah, I was joking, it's only SoCal that's hot, the rest of Cali is pretty temperate. The ocean is cold over there compared to the east coast where we have the Gulf Stream, so those cities stay cooler.

Yeah, I thought the smiley face might let you know I was with you on that.

I'm East inland a little, where it does get up into the 90s and over 100 a few days out of the year. Even when it is that hot, I'll go up to Berkeley and it will be 60. The microclimates around the Bay are incredible. You'll change 30-40 degrees going 20-30miles.

One thing I will say, for you East coasters who have never been out here, the sun is extremely intense. The black shirts would feel very hot, even if it's 70 outside. Still nothing compared to a hot, humid, Suthun day, though.

Not in NorCal. :) It's Sunny and mid 70s every frickin day. I'd kill a nun for a thunderstorm every now and then.

Went to the AZ game at the season opener earlier this year and when we were walking outside of Chase Field after the DBacks game Saturday night I was blown away by the chain-lightning storms that were never ending. There were thousands of little kids just walking with their parents that thought nothing of it and here I am a grown man of 28 years just staring at all the shiny lightning.

I come back to the Bay Area, 72 with a light breeze coming in from the Northwest. Spoiled and oblivious since birth when it comes to weather I suppose.
