I came midway probably but these were some of the questions he answered while I was tuning in...

Someone asked about what he thought about Jimmy. He said he liked him and he thought he wasn't ready last year because he was "thrown to the wolves".. said he was on 3rd team playing only against scout team so he wasn't given a chance and it was obvious he wasn't ready... He did say that he has been impressing him this year in practice... He then mentioned how Derek Anderson lights it up in practice even moreso and that he can see how he is a pro bowl caliber QB and he says he helps Cam out a lot.

Mentioned that cam will not be a "beast" but he will be a "monster" once he learns and understands the offense inside and out but he has been impressed that Cam knows what he's doing without the use of a wristband.

Another person asked him who he was closest to on the team and he said the RB's....

He was asked what he thought about Olsen and he said he was probably the funniest guy on the team and if you ever get a chance to have a talk with him you should take the opportunity because he is hilarious..

Also brought up nicknames from the team and he said Cam has a nickname for everyone and refers to everyone by the nickname he gives them and he had a particularly funny one for one of the TE's but it slipt his mind what the nickname was lol...

He also said how fantasy football is a gift and a curse, he says people forget that players are human beings and he was disgusted by a person who asked him if he was going to play on sunday when he was injured because guy had him in fantasy instead of asking him "how are you feeling? get better etc..." but he likes that fantasy football gives the NFL greater exposure etc. He promised that regardless of fantasy numbers no one will work harder than him and he gives every run his all.

-Hasn't livestreamed in a while b/c a person in the org. told him not to but he got the ok now.

-He doesn't care about getting fantasy points, whether he has 2 yards or 200 it's fine.

-THey're sending in tape of the Shockey push off and the Steve Smith helmet to helmet hits from Meriweather.

-Cam is a beast, and so is Steve who has not lost a step despite what people may say.

-They will get better and the wins will begin to stack up

-He says he knows they will be good on D when all of the players return (mentioned TD specifically so who knows)

-Mentioned that he saw Aaron Curry's name online (he may be a huddle stalker lol) he says that he hasn't heard about it yet though.

-Two favorite players two watch are Cam and Steve, it is amazing watching Cam, says Cams feet were off of the ground when he threw 53 yrds. to Steve which shows his arm strength.

-Mentions that they were the first team to run the Wildcat in the NFL but Dan Henning revolutionized it in Miami.

-Greg broke the crossbar because they hadn't tightened the goalpost yet.

-Said Peppers and Urlacher asked why we stopped running the ball b/c they were having trouble stopping them.

-D Will says he said he doesn't question the calling c/ the coaches have been there and get paid wapy more than him to make the right calls.

-Says that under the old regime they weren't that good at passing, but with the new one he said "Lets strap up this is going to be a fun high scoring game c/ of the quick strike offense" and it happened like he predicted.

-He's been looking at Joe Montana film just in case he has to sling it in the Wildcat/Flea Flicker.

-He grew out hair b/c he couldn't find anyone to cut it in Charlotte, but likes it b/c it helps cushion his head from impact.

-Jimmy is a great QB, they threw him in too early, and he was a 3rd string QB coming in who didn't get a lot of reps and he basically wasn't ready. Now in practice he's hitting people very well. But Derek Anderson impresses him most, he's a Pro Bowl caliber QB and he's pushing Cam to play to his best.

-Cam will be a MONSTERRR not beast...but a MONSTERRRR once he gets the entire offensive system down.

I can't think of a player who gives more of his own personal time to his fans then DeAngelo... had the pleasure of meeting this guy in person on several occasions and I can tell you he's the real deal, loves connecting with fans.

8.2 ypc yesterday, anyone still think he's washed up?

    • Tetairoa McMillan.   The last 28 1st overall picks were either a QB, DE, or OT. Seeing as I don't think we'd take an OT in the 1st and give up on Ickey as an LT yet and there doesn't seem to be a clear overall #1 type of QB or DE pick this year, it very well could be a non conventional #1 overall this year, at least in regards from the last almost 3 decades of drafts. If we didn't have Horn, I'd be more open to Hunter as a CB at #1, but we have him so another CB wouldn't be how I'd use a #1 pick.  And as much as I love Legette, if we have SB contending aspirations, I don't think Legette is a #1 on a team like that, but he damn sure is an elite #2 on a team like that.  He's more of the Smith/Higgins/Waddle to Brown/Chase/Hill (in terms of role/impact, not style of play of course). T-Mac is going to be the top ranked WR on every team's board in the end.  He is going to be a true outside #1 WR who is viewed as a consensus Top 5 WR in the game by his second contract in the same way guys like Jefferson and Chase have done.  His height combined with his speed, athleticism, and hands are near impossible to find all in one player, there is a reason his generally used comp is Mike Evans (although as he's not as thick, I personally see him more as an AJ Green). Yes, as an Arizona alum I've admitted to having bias towards the player to begin with.  But he's also someone very widely being put into the Top 5 in mock drafts lately and most of them have him as the first non QB offensive player being taken, so it's not really THAT much of a homer pick on my part anyways. If a QB or DE truly separate themselves as being a can't miss prospect come draft day, I'm open to that discussion, but until then, or if it doesn't happen, T-Mac is my pick 100 times out of 100.
    • Logjam, indeed! Makes me nervous.
