Panthers offer 6th Round Pick For Curry

Rivera did say we would go out and find someone that can do there job if no one is up to the task. Looks like we are doing just that.

On a side note... its funny how one of our deepest pos has become our worst.

Funny isn't the word I would use but it is ironic. It also has went from not needing to address it all in the draft to a major need. I think we should just part ways with TD and move on. Getting Curry would lets us have a guy with potential that we could give a season to determine if he can start for us. If not he is quality depth that can play ST.

My biggest question is can Curry play the weak side. He has played Strong side LB his entire career in Seattle. If got him would he become a WLB or would be more Anderson to WLB and insert Curry in SLB?

Curry is best suited as a SLB and Anderson is best suited as the WLB. Anderson has been playing well, despite playing out of position.

I would go as low as a 5th rounder for him if that gets a deal done. I like Curry more in Pass Coverage than Anderson, but I think both are good with the blitz.

Nah you have that backwards. You don't want Curry in coverage. Let the man play the run on 1st and 2nd downs.

Hell, at this point, Curry could even get some PT at the MLB position if the defense doesn't improve.

I hope we pull the trigger. At least he has some experience in the NFL (not that it necessarily means a whole lot), and we need help NOW. I think a middle school running back could get at least 100 yards on our defense. A 6th rounder would definitely be worth the risk.
