Ranking the Panthers on IR

People will surely disagree with me, but I too believe losing Ron Edwards and David Gettis hurt the most. I believe our LBers are good enough to get by with a solid line in front of them, and I felt like Gettis would have a break out season this year. I really liked what I saw from that kid last year.

idk... defense is surely more of an issue than offense... I think Edwards just squeaks by Beason as #1 and #2 and Gettis is #3.

Connor is good, but Beason is a natural leader and the heart of our D.

Gettis (Would've been, Smith, LaFell/Gettis, Edwards/Pilares

Davis (sucks we lost him again.. but its the again part that has him way down here)

People are just high on Gettis right now because of the hate towards Lig a Doo because of yesterday's game.

how I'd rank them. Beason is a monster both on and off the field, words can't express how much we're missing him. TD is the same, sure we're used to him being on IR at this point but theres no denying his impact when he IS on the field. Ron Edwards because our rookie DTs are getting manhandled. And lastly, Gettis... sure he showed promise and I'd love to see him out there, but we're still putting up 400 yds passing per game this year. We aren't missing him THAT much.

We know exactly what we are missing in Beason and Davis. We have no idea what Edwards had to offer. The chiefs have been terrible in run defense for a while in both 3-4 and 4-3. I'd put losing Gettis just ahead of losing Schwartz.....they've done well with Smith, Olsen and Shockey
