Cam Will Not Accept Losing

I guess swearing must be contagious today cause even Blaine was accused of doing it on the sidelines. The difference, the Jag fans aren't acting all condescending and self-righteous but instead stated this...Hmmmmm... And what he did was out in public view.. I wonder why such a difference in tone an attitude?

Are you really not smart enough to see the difference between yelling at an opposing player and at your teammate who is encouraging you?

Cam is the QB. More is expected of him whether we think it is fair or not.

If this was a WR that did it it probably wouldn't have even been news.

That is life as an NFL QB. He has to learn that he is under an even bigger microscope than he was in college as improbable as that sounds.

I've never had the mentality of losing in my whole life and for a person to tell me you can't win them all, that's a loser's mentality.

Naw that's reality Cam. That's like asking God why aren't you perfect. You not supposed to be perfect, thats what makes us unique. Ask Michael Jordan. It took 7 years for him not only win his first championship but to even get there. Be lets remember something, Jordan didn't win those titles and lose those years. The Chicago Bulls did. You dont lose and win solo but as a team. Throw it in the back of your brain, learn and move forward to the next one

I know what you are saying, but it does not appear to be in Cam's makeup to be patient about winning. And just as with Smitty, that is what drives them to be great.

The time to look back on your accomplishments with pride is when you hang up the cleats. Until then, the great ones take each loss as if they had been stabbed with a steakknife. Brady, Montana, Marino, Jerry Rice and many more of the greats were (are) all notorious poor losers.

I know no one likes to lose but as you get older you realize that is true you can't win them all so you handle it better especially when you know you gave it your all and lost. Now if you went out there and just flat out played terrible that's understandable. So you hang your head up high and try it again

I agree with Newton, the whole team should be pissed off that they lost today. Good is not good enough when you want to be the best. Its the reason Steve Smith loves this kid.

Absolutely. The Panthers finally have someone that can match Smith's character passion, love of the game and need for winning. Smith hasn't really been around players like that with the Panthers. Players that are as dedicated and passionate about winning as Smith and Newton. They put everything out there on the field and hate losing. They do not accept it. I hope that Cam can get Smith a super bowl ring before he retires. I really do. Smith really deserves one.

According to this, it may not have been a "fug you" so much as "close isn't fugging good enough."

See, this is why we need to stop being so quick to jump off the bridge everytime someone tweet some knee jerking thing about Cam.

Another non-issue...Please don't destroy another QB.

Funny, but some of act like he should be perfect in everything he does...;o)

Anyway, Cam's attitude is from God...His attitude is what separate winners from champions. I use to watch Jordon take his team on his back and carried them into championships and beyond. I use to share ur attitude of, damn micheal, ur not going to win every game, when he would get real pissed after a game. But that is why they play the game and we watch it. And that is why after Jordon left the Chicago Bulls hasn't won since.

The ability to get each team-mate to share ur passion to win isn't always easy..Maybe that is why it took 7 years for Jordon to get his first championship but after he did, he never looked back. Athletes like Michael, Kobe, Tiger, Peyton, Tom Brady, and even Cam are rare breed and yes, God made them just like that. Here's hoping Cam doesn't lose the fire before the rest of the team catches up to his passion to win.

Did the article said Cam "yelled" at anyone? I believe the writer said he barely heard Cam...So one will assume that the reporter who tweeted Cam said FU to Olsen, never really heard what Cam said but that isn't stopping folks like urself from going all "Oral Roberts" on Cam and even adding fuel to the fire by not even keeping what u read straight. Who is the one not being to smart? And we wonder how a story gets spun out of control.

And let me spell it out to u since u're to smart to get it. My point of using what Blaine did was to show the extreme difference in treatment of the two QBs by their fans. U know....the over-reacting of folks like urself over Cam's swearing under his breath in a locker-room vs. the Jag fans applauding Blaine's public display of emotions.

As I said, before, many of u folks know why u're behavior towards Cam is the way it is..Trying to rationalize it only makes it more obvious. Even worst is the frequency in which folks like urself is always looking to turn whatever Cam does into a never-ending chastisement of the kid.

all these fans that don't accept losing need to get their asses on the field and start winning some games

 seriously get out on the field and crack some skulls, trip a player or two so they're out for the game or something....

just because some people don't bawl out over something they really have no control over doesn't mean we're happy about our team losing games they should have won

then again, maybe some people have no true personal identity and feel like losers when their team loses

maybe some of these dumbasses can stop accepting winter so we can have eternal summer
