If you realize that I want Caldwell gone and Luck to replace Peyton Manning in a couple of years, they make a great deal of sense.

According to Jason LaCanfora, the Dolphins are concerned with Chad Henne's shoulder and have reached out to David Garrard and Jake Delhomme as potential replacement options. If the latter is true, then I guess they really are going for the Suck for Luck strategy.

For this year yes, but they could screw up and finish 6-10 and get stuck in mediocrity for an even longer period of time. They need to destroy and rebuild the offense around Marshall.
