The Honeymoon is Over

Their defense is also ALOT better than ours. Staff has been in place for idk how long as well. Somewhat surprising start though. (still a 1 game difference)

Our defense gave up what today?

20 points.

The other 14 are mistakes that are coachable and fixable.

We had the talent on the field to beat the Bears today imho.

I really do think theres a big difference in the defenses really. They can stop the run, and they are doing pretty good against the pass.

I question some of the play selection as well. D.Will had a great game, and only getting 10 touches to me, in unacceptable. I chalk that up to staff gelling. Something times with staffs in place don't worry about as much.

Football is a game of inches and we aren't good enough (yet) to blow teams away. these mistakes are costing us dearly. Our special teams has been awful this year.

However, keep in mind our offense last year v. this year. We are going in the right direction.

You freakin' jokers are nothing but a bunch of whiners. The Panthers are an extremely young team that is playing in a new system with a rookie QB. It is going to take them time to completely learn the system and, more importantly, learn to win close games in the fourth quarter.

Many of you have compared this team to Tampa in Freeman's rookie year. Well, they had to learn to win close games too, and look at what they did last year. Give it a freakin' break. You don't HAVE to complain about something every week.

No more feel good threads after this week. If we lose.... we all go into Cam mode...

"F*CK YOU!"

I feel so sorry for this team cause the problem is them. It's not like the other team is really beating them. The Bears didn't beat the Panthers today...The Panthers lost today's game. It's starting to become a pattern.

I get the feeling that this Panther team can be a lot like last year's Lions--lose some heartbreakers early before getting on a roll later in the season. Losing Beason and Davis definitely hurt the defense, but who would have thought that the defense would be the weak link on the team by this point back in August?

This team is moving in the right direction--just going to take some time for it to all come together. I'm staying patient for now...
