So another season down the drain.

Happy Panther

All we were missing last year was a QB.

We resigned everyone and added a record breaking QB. And a bad-ass OC. And a HC that is supposed to be tough. And the best two TEs in the league.

I think we are out of excuses.

Or not...

And the offense is doing its part.

You CONVENIENTLY neglected to acknowledge the fact that the defense has lsot its NT, pro bowl MLB and Pro Bowl OLB....yet, the Panthers are about 3 plays from being 4-0.

This team is on the cusp of being very, very good.....and they are very young. Get healthy on defense and let Rivera work his defensive magic, and the Panthers are the future of the NFCS.

Im enjoying this season. Newton and the offense is playing well. They just need to be able to score better in the endzone, catch the damn ball(Im looking at you Steve Smith), and run. Our defense is attrocious.

It would be nice to get a high first round pick and get a great defensive tackle.... or maybe offensive lineman who can open a hole for the running game. sigh.

End of Line.

i'm pissed at the losses because they could have been avoided.

we weren't pummeled by any team. we lost it because we had players make dumb mistakes. two of the teams we lost were in the playoffs last year. one of them won the superbowl. both have big time defenses. we almost won them. they aren't better than this team because they almost lost to this team. they didn't beat us. we beat ourselves.

i feel great about the future of this team, but on the way there we are going to have to deal with some dumb mistakes that keep us from getting in the win column. those mistakes should be corrected. as long as they are made and they are costing us games, i'm going to keep on being pissed.

again, i am glad with the direction this team is going. we just have a few parts that are missing and a lot of crap that needs to be cleaned up.

season isn't over, though. pretty ridiculous to think that. last year at this point, maybe...but this team has a lot of talent and we just faced the two toughest defenses we'll face all year and the NFC isn't exactly tearing it up this year. lots of teams are sucking. we're still in it. it might not be pretty, but for the moment we still have a chance.

i;m anxious to see how these guys respond to yesterday. i can guarantee you that they haven't taken the lame ass approach that the OP has.

I figured fans wouldn't be this f**king pathetic and for ONE YEAR, be patient..

ONE YEAR..

threads like this obviously ignore the whole team building chemistry concept. it's rather vital to any teams success and rarely is it gained by week 4 of a new regime, rookie QB, and several key vets injured..

FOR f**kS SAKE... one year?!

Folks, this season was over a year ago. We all knew a year ago that we'd see either Foxy supervising 16 more turds swirling in the pot or a rebuilding year.

So, let's rebuild. The special teams sure could use a lot of rebuilding.

All that being said, all three losses were winnable, especially the one this past week in Chicago. We left 14 points on the field and gave away 14. Shoulda been 43-21 good guys. Yeah, I'm a little annoyed about that, but I expected to be annoyed a lot this year.

If these young players stop killing themselves with the same mistakes (which it seems like after this loss the lightbulb could go off in their head that they are holding the team back) we will win more then we lose the rest of the way out.

Even if we were out of contention (which we aren't by the way, we're 2 games out of the division lead with 13 games to play) I'd still watch every game hoping for a win, and celebrate every win we get.

You should also get frustrated when we lose.

That is what real fans do.

See you at the game next week?
