So another season down the drain.

Everyone needs to calm down and relax and look at the bigger picture.

The defense has been crippled by injuries. They were exposed against the bears this week. They have 2 rookie DT's.

Cam Newton is a record breaking Rookie who will be one of the top Qbs in this league for a long time but he still makes rookie mistakes and still needs to learn. This team needs games to fully understand what Chud's system is.

In just one off season..after no OTAs all the other BS....THIS TEAM IS MUCH IMPROVED from the season before and thats all we can ask for. This team will learn how to win.

To hang your nuts on wins and losses right now is stupid to me. We have had a chance to win every week. Yes its frustrating losing close games...this team is on the rise though...hell look at what the Lions have been through and look what they're doing right now. The Panthers are moving in the right direction and thats what needs to be looked at. 2-14 w a pathetic team and coaching staff last year. Things are very different now.

You can see the light at the end of the tunnel..and its bright as fu#K. Everyone needs to chill out.

I think think epitomizes the attitude among panthers "fans."

We have become acclimatized to losing. To the point that winning once in a while is cool.

You know... because we owe JR for bringing us a team and stuff.

I'm curious how many losing years you morons are fine with. I'm guessing it is a bunch.

... Baw?

Funny how our players will not accept losing but our fans are cool with it.

Tight end Greg Olsen walked by Cam Newton, who was sitting on a chair in front of his locker stewing after Sunday’s latest loss, and tried to offer some words of encouragement, telling the rookie he gave the team a chance to win.

But he nearly got his head bitten off.

Newton, who tends to take each loss to heart, quickly shrugged Olsen off with his arms in a perturbed manner, mumbling something about close not being good enough.

That’s what you get with Newton.

And that’s a good thing for the Panthers

Our fans are not the type to demand excellence.

I am.

Its the NFL man. It takes time for things to turn around. Esp. after our 2-14 season last year. Everyone knows about that disaster.

Everyone wants to win. No one is "cool" with losing. We are moving in the right direction.

we're all pissed. the season isn't over. if you don't think the next two games against division opponents mean something, with the chance to go 3-3, well have fun with your sunday pity parties. i'm just as angry as you, but i'm not ready to throw in the towel.

This is what needs to happen for us to right the ship. Back to .500 and two division wins puts us in the best position to be successful.

By this logic, the 49ers are going to win the fuging superbowl.

It's true. This is just how the funny NFL works at times. Especially when you're talking about 1/4 of the season. You really can't judge any team on their record at this point. 1-3 does not mean you suck. 3-1 does not mean you're good. We have a lot of season left. And that benefits us, not our opponents. Most of the teams we're playing are already established, especially our divisional opponents. No one knows the ceiling that we have. It shall continue to rise.
