I think this year proves QB isn't our only problem.

Don't tell Clausen.

Who with a brain that works didn't already know that BEFORE the season started?

It didn't take a genius to know that the Panthers have the worst secondary in the league BEFORE the season started, or that the Panthers would be fine on offense with a QB worth anything.

If Cam Newton gave them anything, the defense was still going to be a problem. Everyone who thinks about more than just individual players or stats already knew that.

Who can Munnerlyn cover? What does Gamble give you? Was Davis really going to make it through the season? Really?

Yes I go to every game and I will continue to. Today we entertained around 20 folks who basically sat around silent for the 4th quarter and then left after finishing the keg. When we used to win people would stay at our parties until 11:00.

And I'm going to be pissed about 5 of 6 crap seasons as well as 3-19.

If you aren't pissed about 3-19 then GTFO.

I pay to go to games too.

You state obvious things and you wonder why the glass half full people come after your ass.

The fact is, they may be 0-16. They may be 16-0; but, regardless, you will watch them just like I do and until you can affect the decisions of the front office, the playcalling of the coaches, and the execution of the players there is not a damned thing you can do about except turn in your tickets.

...and oh yeah, on a beautiful Autumn, which there are not too many of in life, try and enjoy it.

true, but playoffs arent coming this year. not until that defense tightens up because Newton is great, but he cant be put into so much so soon.

Yeah, I posted that back at the beginning of the month. I've come to realize that our D is not going to let us win anything meaningful this year, unless the opposing team's offense all suddenly has exploding embolisms. I'm done being a cheerleader. I'll always be a fan, and I'll be sitting in the stands next weekend for the Skins game, but I'm just not going to let myself get invested anymore this year until I see something worth my time. Sixteen years in which most seasons are mediocre or worse has me asking why I should give a crap anymore. Maybe I'll feel differently when this stink of a loss has had tiem to wear off, but I gotta say I doubt it.:mad2:

Yes. Next year looks good. Cam's got a lot to learn, but is still better than many QBs in the league. D needs revamp. Next year may be much different. Got to be careful though. Lots of self proclaimed "true" Panther fans seem to want fellows that do not give a crap.
