Cam's Response to Olsen

Yeah, non-story.

Cam just wanted to be left alone and he might have taken the loss as his fault due to the pick 6 (which wasn't entirely his fault, coughnaaneecough). Then, when you hear "good game" you can take that as somebody saying "thanks for costing us the game." Since we KNOW Cam takes losses personally, regardless of his play, this is a good theory.

Regardless, emotions run high. He got caught up. He's got that fire. This is a good thing, really. As long as he and Olsen made up, and I am sure they're fine.

Cam was just blowing off steam folks. He's not used to losing. He's probably been on winning teams his whole life. He doesn't want to be on a team as bad as last year's Panthers team. That's understandable.

I'm sure that Olsen knows where Cam is coming from with his being super frustrated after losing. Some players have been known to throw things in the locker room ... much less cuss a little.

Cam needs to harness that frustration during practice this week. Tell the other guys that ALL of them have to reach higher levels so the team can WIN and have some fun doing it. Cam's probably been working pretty hard learning all sorts of things and he wants to see the "W" on Sundays after a hard week of grinding in practice.

Such a predictable response. Being an athlete doesn't give you an excuse to rip into your teammates for trying to pick you up. It's an immature thing to do, that's all anyone is saying. Put it this way, if you had a huge account that you barely lost at work and your boss came by and said nice try would you say fug you? Probably not, and if you did you would probably be out on your ass....again I'm not saying he's a bad teammate, cancer or anything like that, just that he needs to mature. Sorry that I don't bend over and kiss Cam's ass and worship every single thing he does. I'm not going to spin it like the guy is a competitor rah rah rah. What he said wasn't necessary, and the people saying Olsen should have known better then to say anything to him are just apologists. Again, I never said this was a big deal, because it's not anymore, just that Cam needs to mature.....

Honestly, after watching the Dallas team lose and the Cardinals get what seems to be happening to the Panthers on a regular basis, a bad call by refs that cause them the game, I'm sure Cam isn't alone with the locker-room swearing tonight...

There's no proof this happened other than one person's personal account. If it did happen, Cam has some issues and seems like a cancer of a teammate.
