This team is competitive enough to win already. We've left points on the field and had execution and injury issues but still this is light years ahead of last year.

If we beat the Saints we are still in the race. I doubt we will but I think the Panthers are capable of doing so.

Also despite giving up way to much field against the run our defense isn't bad imo. There are issues and the defensive staff has done well to cover them up. Given time and some talent injection next off season I think we'll start seeing an incredible and complete team on both sides of the ball. Hopefully they will turn our special teams into something dangerous as well once we can acquire healthy depth.

My thoughts exactly. We have the toughest schedule in the league, but have kept it close every time. If we can fix our ST issues, we can win some games.

Despite the defense, special teams, and Legedu Naanee, we were in a position to win it twice with 6 minutes left. We'll start winning games once we force teams to pass the ball on us, that'll require our offense to convert when they need to in the redzone.

I expect to win next week, just like I expected to win each of the past 4 games that they GAVE AWAY.

I'm concerned about Sproles and no one else, not even Brees, because the Panthers don't do well with slippery players, and Sproles is as dangerous on ST these days as Hester was "today".

I think they'll get to Brees and NO's defense isn't as good as the Bears', so playing at home, the Panthers should win.

The Saints only scored 23 points today, and Brees has been throwing at least 2 INTs a game, recently. They're vulnerable.
