Hmm. Wouldn't say they have the second worse recieving corps behind Oakland. Oakland has a better QB but no way better recievers.

We have an average secondary that even if it plays lights out for 60 minutes will probably give up 2 or 3 BIG plays. The test of our D and secondary is how we react.

If we play well we stay in the game. But it will be close.

    • I'm not opposed to keeping him depending on the money. If he's going to count against the cap anyway (which the void year does) it's not the worst move unless an extension significantly raises his cap number. Even if it's just a 1-year deal that pays him a little more than what he's already on the books for. When he's been on the field he's been really good, but the issue is obviously injuries. I will say, having Corbett back as the starter would also give us good depth since Cade Mays can move into the backup role. That could be key if (more likely when) Brady Christensen leaves. Hard to say right now without seeing the potential terms of any new deal.
    • It sounds like QB Tyler Slough is flying up the draft boards, he’s a bit older, but so was Nix, Penix etc. He might, just might, be someone teams want to trade up to get around where we pick 🤞
    • He's only stating the obvious. I always chuckle when someone says we can trade back like it is so easy.
