I hope Cam has a "QB guru" like Tom Brady does

I suspect that the Panthers have an assistant who monitors the Panthers message boards and reads some of our posts. Sometimes the fans see things that the coaches overlook. The Panthers staff would be wise to read the message boards of the team they're playing on Sundays too.

Other teams have a guy on staff who really does read message board posts. No joke. If he sees something interesting, he lets everyone else know about it.

Ok, if you say so. I think Cam Newton should drink plenty of fluids so he doesn't get dehydrated. Also, yoga will help him stay limber and make him better than Tom Brady.

Well, ya gotta admit Cam does have a tendency to throw too high to his receivers. A good QB coach like Brady has will watch game film and give him the perfect advice for correcting it. Cam probably needs ongoing advise about reading defenses and calling audibles when he needs to, etc.

Hopefully, Shula is as good a QB coach as what Brady has. Brady probably has about 3 QB coaches that he works with over the course of a year. Cam could do the same thing. It doesn't hurt to have a new QB coach who's seeing things with a fresh perspective.

No lets dismiss a stupid idea brought up by a huddle poster and then perpetuated by posts like yours. There is little to nothing that a huddle poster points out on this message board regarding the play of the players that someone on the staff haven't taken hours of film to dissect to the minute degree. You are saying nothing new or breaking any ground. To assume that you have given some nugget or knowledge that was not known by the team is ridiculous.

Carry on in your fantasy world though.

As for the rest of your post, the idea that Newton should be more accurate has never crossed any of our minds.

Martinez is on his way out of this world BTW. These kind of mentors will be more attracted to Cam when he shows them dedication and not a waste of time for them.

Like Martinez said however he can show anyone the mechanics but he can't teach work ethic. Does Cam have it? It appears so, but only time will tell, that goes for any QB out there.

I didn't know there were rules like this on an NFL message board. So when YOU post it is ALWAYS highly enlightening and new? It's ALWAYS a perfect and appropriate post that nobody has ever thought of that "breaks new ground"? Hmm ...

A bunch of players for the Dolphins really DID do yoga to stay limber ... especially when Ricky Williams was there.

Ricky is a master yogi you know. No joke. He's studying to be some sort of doctor after he retires from the NFL. He can do all those crazy stretching things with his back and so forth. It probably helped him avoid injuries. It didn't help him stay away from the weed though.

OMG NO WAY!

Don't tell me they lift weights and do cardiovascular exercises too.

Stretching and doing all those "core" exercises that strengthens your back and makes it more flexible is important. Don't knock yoga. From what I hear, it really does help players avoid injuries if they do it correctly and safely.

Who's knocking yoga? I'm the one who suggested it will make him better than Tom Brady.
