Definition of a homer

Everyone would like to see that, but it wont happen

No, because I knew we weren't winning the Green Bay game, no matter how many yards Cam threw for, as they are a much more complete team then we are right now. That being said, we also played them much better than Chicago did, and that was with them starting with short fields repeatedly.

Chicago is not a good team. Their only win was against a seriously down Atlanta, whose only win was against a shaky Philadelphia. We're starting a wild card rookie who blew up the Cardinals and the Packers, and earned his first W in a monsoon, and I have no doubt in my mind his accuracy issues will be much better this week. Chicago on the other hand is getting the benefit of the doubt because they really, really need this win or a well-deserved fire is going to be lit under their front office.

That is due to the fact of veteran QB's being able to get the ball out quicker, most of our sacks is when Cam tries to run for extra yardage thus leaving the pocket. The run blocking is another story, but we have been very good in pass protection.

Cam has been 8 times, but that is due to him scrambling, or leaving the pocket.

Our line is fourth overall with most hurries allowed. And is 11th in pressure allowed per pass play. I'm sure some has to do with Newton.

But the fact is our o line isn't playing all that well this season.

Newton has only been sacked 8 times, that's not even in the top 10 sacks allowed.

Which his very impressive for any rookie QB (constant defensive pressure).

Also Cam being so mobile will keep that number down as well. He can even get the ball out..as he's getting dragged down, lol. Not many QB's can execute that..but Cam is obviously beastly strong.

You have to take into account how many times we've thrown the ball too, though. Cam has 100 or so dropbacks in 3 games - and with very little run game to keep the defense guessing - considering that I feel like our OL has played well enough in pass protection. Could certainly do a lot better when it comes to run blocking, though.

you might want to look and count again......that puts them at 7th most

again....not trying to blame or but bash the OL but they aren't one of the best in any way

They jhave the potential to get there
